I create figurative works featuring motifs of familiar natural elements, such as mountains and birds. ‘Kabuto‘ is one of the works dedicated to the film “Ugetsu-monogatari ” (Tales of the Rain and Moon, 1953) directed by one of the leading directors of Japan, Kenji Mizoguchi.
